Its a well-documented fact that limber, flexible muscles can enhance athletic performance, whether its taking strokes off your golf game or increasing running speed. For many athletes, that means regular stretching before and after exercise.
We based our SportStretch programming on the principles of Active Isolated Stretching, known as "AIS". Stretching one muscle at a time, SportStretch focuses on the individual needs of your sport. As the name implies, AIS is an "active" technique that is used during warm up and as a cool-down routine. In both cases, youll notice a difference in how your muscles feel and respond.
Each sport-specific stretch program takes about 10 minutes. Use SportStretch programming 2 to 3 days a week, on non-sport days for training and on the days you play your sport to increase your muscle movement efficiency.
